be there/go thereというのは実際にどこかへ行くことではなく感情を経験することを表していて、大体こういう歌では思いを通わせることを意味しています。
記事では「試す」と訳しました。

we're going nowhere, let's go there... という歌詞でパオロ・ヌティーニのLast Requestを思い出した...。
